A. Going solo is boring the game is online for a reason group play over the net. I join guilds with players who share similar interests as my own. I suppose the last reason would be that being part of a large guild means far more opportunity as a whole.
Q. When you are not playing games, what do you do for fun? (Answer!)
A. Make flash movies about games. Build extreme gaming machines. Watch a lot of movies. Work on my project car (Plymouth Duster). Take my kids out to do things. Spend some time with the old lady.

A. First non PC gaming memory? a game caller heist on either Atari 2600 or Coleco vision cant remember I was like 5 lol.</p><p >First PC gaming memory? Ultima 6 and promptly afterwards Ultima 8 which lead me to UO at it's release date I am currently still playing after almost 10 years.
Q. How do you feel about playing characters of the opposite sex? (Answer!)
A. To me it is a bit weird. I have always felt that my character should roughly represent my persona in a fantasy RPG environment and as I am a guy I wouldn't envision myself as a chick... But some might see themselves from that angle.
Q. Are you interested in working within the game industry? (Answer!)
A. When I was a kid I always dreamed of doing something like that! But after toying with something simple like RunUO code and finding out what it really takes to make a game happen from complete scratch I have decided I would rather play the end result. Not only that but you cannot play a game you created and expect it to be much fun when you know exactly how everything works and there is no surprise.

Q. What is the most overlooked or misunderstood game? (Answer!)
A. Dragon Quest A.K.A Dragon Warrior. I know this is a non PC game but to me this is the only answer that I could come up with. However the game is starting to gain more momentum in the last couple years.

A. If you pay cash for the items your retarded. If you sell the items your a genious.
Q. What are your thoughts on player-made mods/addons for games? (Answer!)
A. This is a touchy area. Every company has a much different standing on this as for legalities. If the company has no problem with this from a legal stand point by all means cut loose and experiment but watch how far you take things. Personally I enjoy tinkering with RunUO and making UO related mods and EA seems to be reasonable about the legal end of things only stopping people who are opening freeshards and charging money and simply giving people an option if you choose to play or run a freeshard that is open to public conections you cannot play the official servers again but at least they give us that option.
Q. What is a feature you would like added to GamerDNA? (Answer!)
A. The more customization the better I say. But all in all I think this site is easy to navigate has a decent amount of customization and seems to be gaining popularity at an alarming rate.</p><p >I think with so many different games on the market the less popular games get pushed to the back of the site people like myself who only play a single game at a time that is not as popular or current feel left out or lost with little chance connecting with those who have similar interests. Being that the site is designed to bring like minded gamers together I wouldn't mind seeing a way to hide things about games you do not play from games you do a sort of game filter so I would only see what I am interested in.

A. I avoid flame wars but the most heated I have ever seen was over Intel vs AMD and ATI vs Nvidia that got totally out of control and many many were banned on that day.
Q. If you made your own game, what would it be like? (Answer!)
A. Probably something similar to the Ultima series. Since the very first time I played Ultima I was hooked and it just never got old. These days I continue to play Ultima Online and await something even close to the experience this series has created for me. I will be waiting until the end of time I think...

A. Well I have sworn to cancel my UO account a bazillion times but the game is so addictive I have yet to bring myself to follow through and quit much like smoking...</p><p >I don't play any other online games so there you have it.

A. Short answer:<br>I love to kill several other skilled players single handedly I fell the best when I am at a harsh disadvantage and alone but manage to survive and take down several opponents simultaneously.</p><p >I hate restricted and unbalanced or nondiverse PVP. </p><p >Long Answer:<br>I love killing other players continuously day in day out but I hate the unbalance in PVP in any game. If you can find balanced PVP your far to restricted it is either a restricted duel in a set environment or lacks diversity and so on. Ultima Online has the greatest PVP of all times if you take away trammel and balance it out but as many of us know that is impossible for that game because of the mechanics behind it.

A. I listen to a very wide variety of music. The exceptions are rap and country but there are even certain songs from those style I will listen to once in a while.

A. My stereo. I would die without my Onkyo home theater!

A. I can't really answer this there have been so many awesome developers that created some of the greatest games we still play that I could not choose.

A. Do gooders! You shouldn't be a prick and talk a bunch of crap to every player you run into but those Anti-PVP types really tick me off! If you do not enjoy PVP at the very least keep your opinions of it to yourself because some people feel tha same way about PVM as you do about PVP!

A. No! Relationships within games are nonsense. Making friends can be meaningful but anything more is just insane!

A. Currently I am running a custom built box with an Intel 3.0ghz P4 2gb of dual channel Kingston ram and a modified ATI Radeon 512mb video card I also have the SoundBlaster X-fi Platinum card.</p><p >My machine is pretty outdated. I maxed it out and it runs pretty good really but I have a new system planned out that will basically wipe my a** at the click of a button lol.

A. I don't use any I know the game I play inside out and can plan out a character without any outside help.

A. Completely finishing out my first character in UO.

A. Are you kidding me? I have been sitting here for like 3 hours answering questions wondering if there is ever an end to them lol.

A. Well loose roleplay is cool. By that I mean playing the part of your characters profession well making the character seem realistic in that aspect. Acting out a part in a game is way to lame for me.

A. What the hell are those? Sorry but those types of items do not exist in the games I play.
Q. Have you ever had a memorable real-life meeting with other gamers? (Answer!)
A. I actually met this dood who plays UO and all the while he was living like 2 houses up the street from me which was pretty funny because he was actually leeching his wireless connection from my router. I had met the guy once before and talked to him because we were both involved in similar things then I later found out that he played UO using my router for his connection kinda weird but also interesting in a way. Been friends with the guy ever since.</p><p >Oh yeah he still leeches my connection but since my bandwidth is insane I never notice lol.
Q. If you could bring any book, movie or comic to life in a game, which would you choose? (Answer!)
A. The book "Tales from the Arabian Nights" it has always been my favorite book.
Q. What do your characters and avatars usually look like? (Answer!)
A. Male characters of different types some evil some good and some just shady. I like a variety. My warrior type characters are usually middle age with ragged hair and beards very rough looking. My mages look young but are actually very old magic keeps them looking good in their old age very wise looking characters very clean. My other characters vary in appearance.

A. None I play barebones. I rarely use a macro outside of the basic macros that save repatition during non combat play. Personally I feel the use of macros is a crutch and you know your a good player if you can match or beat someone who is using them when you are not.

A. I am almost always on from 7pm till 10 or 11pm EST unless I have more free time then I am around all day long lol
